CLOTHES MAKE THE … CHIROPRACTOR?
A recent study by Leduc in January 2025 closed
the paper with what we chiropractors wear impacts
our patients’ perception of us, including your Minster chiropractor at Minster Chiropractic Center. Noted!
Scrubs make us look more knowledgeable, trustworthy, competent,
professional and comfortable. White coats and formal wear came in second
place. For women chiropractors, the white coat was more affirmative
for them than when men wear them. (1) Curiously,
this attire issue doesn’t just concern chiropractors. A study in Saudi Arabia
found that patients preferred surgeons who wore scrubs and white coats, associating them with hygiene, dedication, and expertise. (2) Beyond
their attire, chiropractors are working to hone their professional
identity to better interact other healthcare colleagues who – according to
other articles like the surgeon attire article – also work to refine
their image and identity for their patients and collegial interactions. (3) One
paper boldly resolved that “although the chiropractic
profession may debate internally about its professional identity, the
chiropractic identity seems to have already been established by society,
practice, legislation, and education as a profession of health care providers
whose area of expertise is spine care.” (4) Beginning with spine
care is good for Minster Chiropractic Center! We know
through experience that spine pain relief leads to our patients’ trusting us
with other health issues. Bring on your Minster back pain and
neck pain! We’ll put on our best scrubs, clothes and/or white coats!
Together, let’s, you and Minster Chiropractic Center, get you feeling better!

it! What if we told you just 10 minutes can help? When you
are hurting, 10 minutes maybe tempting! A recent
study documented that a short 10 minutes, easy-to-perform core

relief for chronic low back pain patients. (5) How
about that? Effective. Immediate. Non-drug. Ready to try? Let’s talk
at your next Minster chiropractic appointment.
